As healthcare becomes more complex, there is a growing need to understand and interpret large data sets to provide insight and support for people to make the best-informed decisions. The BI, Insight and Analytics team is at the forefront of this. The Junior Analyst will support the organisation through the development and deployment of analytical products supporting contracting, commissioning, performance, and Population Health Management.
In this position, you will work with your colleagues to plan, build and maintain high quality analytical products to a varied customer base, be responsible for analysis and report development involving a large range of datasets and use analytical techniques to support decision making, improve data quality and improve performance and patient outcomes enabling the ICB to meet its statutory and legislative data requirements. You will have good working knowledge of relevant technical skills including, but not limited to, SQL, Excel and Power BI.
* This is not a remote role. Successful candidates will be expected to work from our Norwich office at least one day a week.

Person Specification
Knowledge, Training and Skills
* Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in a specialist area;
* Awareness of data sensitivities and importance of information governance;
* Previous experience working within the NHS.
Technical and Analytical
* Experience of working with SQL;
* Experience of working with Excel;
* Experience in analysis of data, interpreting information and evaluating issues.
Communication
* Clear communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills, capable of effective communication to a diverse audience.
Planning, Management, Physical and Autonomy
* Able to manage time, work on own initiative with minimal supervision, supports and works with the team in a positive way.
