On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Aircraft Test Rig Control Systems & Data Acquisition Engineer on an initial12-month contract. As an Aircraft Test Rig Control Systems & Data Acquisition Engineer you will be working within the Structures Test Team based in the Aerospace Integrated Research and Test Centre and be responsible for testing the structural technologies for the Wing of Tomorrow programme, Hydrogen Powered Aircraft and for support of all current aircraft programmes.Role: Aircraft Test Rig Control Systems & Data Acquisition EngineerPay: £41.43 per hour via umbrellaLocation: FiltonContract: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week, 12 months contractIR35 Status: InsideSecurity Clearance: BPSSResponsibilitiesDelivery of technical specialisms in industrial control systems (MOOG Aerospace test software, MTS Aeropro preferable) and/or test data acquisition (HBK, Catman preferable); a healthy mix of hands-on lab and office-based workUnderstanding of hydraulics - specifically servo-hydraulic controlAssistance when required to deliver structural testsCommunication and reporting of progress to the test leader/test customersCoordination of all internal and external contributors/stakeholders/suppliersAnticipation, identification and management of risks & opportunitiesParticipation in the test centre SQCDP and weekly team meetingsSupport the development of training methodology and materialRisk assessment, Safe Systems of Work & Health / Safety ComplianceEssential & Desirable Skills:Educated (or equivalent proven experience) in control systems engineering or a related discipline (e.g. Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Physics)+5 years of experience in:- Delivery of projects to time, cost, quality.- One of the following disciplines: Instrumentation, control systems, data acquisition, hydraulic controlPioneering spirit, open to new ideas/innovationGood communication skills, multifunctional work and customer focusedTeam workerProven ability to deliverMS Office and G SuiteEnglish: Negotiation levelIf you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please send your updated CV to: Natalie Dalkin at Line Up AviationLine Up Aviation has carved its own place in the recruitment of Aviation and Aerospace personnel all over the world for more than 30 years.
