We are now recruiting for a Cell Leader to ensure that the cell achieves the day-to-day customer requirements in terms of Quality, Delivery and Cost, and to continuously improve the performance of the team.
As our Cell Leader you will be specifically responsible for:
1. Team Leadership: Support and motivate your team, address performance issues, and act as the first point of contact for queries.
2. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, maintain workflow, ensure cycle time adherence, and manage start-up/changeovers.
3. Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives like Kaizen, 5S, and cross-training while maintaining the Training Matrix.
4. Documentation & Visual Management: Keep standard work, SQDIP boards, and production targets up to date, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
5. Collaboration: Work with the Production Manager and engineering teams to align resources and improve processes.
6. 5S & Maintenance: Promote a clean, organized environment by overseeing cleaning and maintenance schedules.
7. Customer Focus: Proactively address issues to ensure customer requirements are met.
In order to be successful in this role it’s essential that you have:
1. Experience of high-level mechanical assembly.
2. Leadership and coaching experience.
3. High level mathematics.
It would be great if you had:
1. Experience in low batch low tolerance workshop environment.
2. HNC / HND Mechanical Engineering.
