This role is set to begin in September 2025 and offers a generous salary between £30,000 and £50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. A fixed-term contract will be offered following the successful completion of a probation period. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and inclusive science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics – specialism considered). Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore and question. Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum, tailoring your approach to meet the needs of all learners. Work collaboratively with a dedicated science department to enhance the quality of teaching and learning. Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and contribute to their academic and personal development. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification. A degree in a science-related subject. Excellent classroom management skills with a creative and adaptable teaching style. Passion for inspiring students and helping them succeed both in and outside the classroom. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and seasoned educators. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
