An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fitter to join the EOS team in Derby.
The Engine Overhaul Services (EOS) facility is 27,000m2 with approximately 550 employees, operational 20 hours a day, 365 days a year. As the only wholly owned Large Engine MRO facility capable of maintaining all modern Trent engines, EOS is vital to the future success of Civil Aerospace.

What you will be doing
* Interpret repair documentation, engine repair manuals, and specifications to meet project requirements and translate these into products or test specimens.
* Manage Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) activities.
* Resolve production and development issues.
* Show flexibility to undertake other tasks when production work is not scheduled.
* Contribute to our Operational Support and Development department to uphold quality standards and global repair capabilities.
Who we are looking for

* Must have completed an advanced apprenticeship in Engineering or Welding and hold NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) certificates. Please attach proof of your apprenticeship along with your CV.
* Experience welding various materials; familiarity with titanium alloys or heat treatment of complex alloys using furnaces and conduction blankets is advantageous.
* A proactive, professional, and flexible approach.
* Effective communicator, able to work independently and within a team.
* Committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment, aware of health and safety considerations.
* Able to meet deadlines and achieve performance and project targets.
