National Sales Manager for NSS Group

Your Role - Main Purpose of the Job
To deliver new business revenue and profit from within a specified geographical territory and/or target sector in line with the Group Sales & Marketing Strategy. This includes account development for specific existing customers to cross-sell and up-sell services, thereby increasing business revenue and profit in alignment with the Group Sales & Marketing Strategy. Achieve all agreed targets in line with the Group Budget and Sales Activity plans while promoting the NSS brand.
Your job will include:
* Self-generating appropriate levels of activity to meet daily/weekly/monthly sales targets, focusing on personal ratios regarding appointment/quote/order.
* Delivering the sales plan as agreed with the Group Commercial Director to identify, target, and acquire new business across the designated Geography/Sector.
* Devise and agree with the Group Commercial Director a strategic account development & sales plan to acquire additional business from nominated customers.
* Working independently to complete bids & tender responses with Sales Support to assist customer growth plans.
* Delivering results in line with agreed budgets and strategies.
* Identifying key players within customer organizations and supporting operations in understanding relationship dynamics.
* Collaborating with operational colleagues responsible for service delivery to leverage additional business from accounts.
* Preparing and delivering accurate quotations and proposals on time, seeking continuous improvement.
* Using the CRM system to report on individual sales and account development activity timely and accurately.
* Promoting best practices in sales delivery and ensuring continuous improvement.
* Assisting in developing the NSS brand within the industry to be synonymous with Safety, Quality & Excellence.
* Presenting management information to major customers and supporting Operations in managing customer requirements.
Requirements of the role:
* A Level calibre with very good verbal and written presentation skills.
* Sales and/or Account Development experience essential, with the ability to understand large, complex FM or Property Management companies.
* Experience in the Facility Services industry.
* Experience in other service sectors or knowledge of selling complex service solutions.
* Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office packages).
* Commercial awareness, profit-focused, and capable of engineering solutions to complex problems.
* Resilient and persistent, able to establish a credible profile with customers and within NSS.
* Profit and results-driven.
* Able to develop solid relationships and work with operational colleagues to ensure clarity of customer expectations.
* Able to identify market and customer trends and propose strategies for success.
* A positive and collaborative approach to work.
* Full driving licence.
