THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead and execute complex technology projects within our practice. This role requires expertise in project planning, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and reporting throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will play a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives across the group, including the launch and delivery of data governance and AI incubators whilst ensuring seamless execution within scope, timeline, and budget from the IT perspective. This role requires a startup mindset with the ability to embed an agile way of working into a more mature project management function. You will be responsible for fostering a collaborative, flexible, and iterative delivery approach, ensuring that teams can pivot efficiently while maintaining structured project governance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Project Planning & Execution Develop and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, and milestones aligned with business objectives Define project scope, deliverables, and resource allocation. Ensure all IT projects follow structured methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) Embed a startup mentality by encouraging experimentation, iterative improvements, and a test-and-learn approach Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, software engineering, and business units. Project Tracking & Reporting Establish KPIs, project metrics, and progress reports for leadership and stakeholders Provide weekly and monthly reports, highlighting risks, dependencies, and critical issues Use project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Trello, or equivalent) to track timelines and budget performance. Risk Management & Issue Resolution Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring business continuity Proactively manage scope changes and stakeholder expectations Facilitate risk assessment sessions and implement contingency plans. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of IT strategies Coordinate with third-party vendors for software integration, data migration, and technical support Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, and data protection standards. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS 5 years of experience in IT Project Management (preferably in asset management, SaaS, or cloud-based platforms) Proven track record of managing end-to-end technology project lifecycles, including data migration & system integration Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies Ability to embed an agile mindset and startup way of thinking into a maturing project function Experience using project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Monday.com, or similar) Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Experience in renewable energy, asset management, or SaaS products (desirable) Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and AI-driven digital solutions (desirable) Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, ISO 27001) (desirable) The right to work in the UK.
