Our client is an independent, not-for-profit organisation, seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join the finance team. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers, this could be the job for you This is a Part-Time permanent position, working hours are 09:30 - 12:30pm, there may be flexibility in these hours. Salary is £28000, pro rata. About You: Qualified Accounting Technician or experienced bookkeeper Strong understanding of accounting principles with exceptional attention to detail Proficient in accounting software, training will be provided on employers software Key Responsibilities: Managing the Purchase Ledger Sales Ledger Posting adjustment journals Bank Reconciliations Reconciling the Nominal Ledger Purchase & Sales ledger entry Supplier statement reconciliations Supplier payments. Liaising with auditors Supporting the finance team with ad hoc reporting and analysis Revenue reconciliations (Vat & PAYE) Producing monthly management reports Requirements: 5 years Proven experience in bookkeeping Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central is desirable Strong organisational and time-management skills Previous experience working in a busy office environment Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification Experience Using accounting software Experience in bookkeeping, ideally within a legal or professional services environment Strong understanding of accounting principles with exceptional attention to detail Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels Benefits: Onsite parking Competitive Salary 15-20 hours per week Immediate start Long term/permanent opportunity What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call Damien at Staffline now.
