We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work with primary and secondary schools across Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, work flexible hours, and support students both in general class settings and on a 1:1 basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students’ learning within the classroom.
* 1:1 Support: Provide individual support to students with specific learning needs or challenges, ensuring they reach their full potential.
* Student Engagement: Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging engagement and participation in lessons.
* Behaviour Management: Support students in maintaining appropriate behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment.
* Learning Resources: Help prepare and organize learning materials and resources to support students’ activities.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience working with children or young people is preferred, but not essential.
* A passion for education and helping students succeed.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
* Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
* Flexibility and reliability to work across different schools and age groups.
* A commitment to supporting the well-being and progress of all students.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
