The Role
We’re looking for a results-driven PR & Communications Manager to lead public relations, corporate communications, and public affairs for a cutting-edge business in the sustainability and technology space.
This is an ideal role for a PR and media expert with both B2B and B2C experience, keen to run impactful campaigns and shape how the company engages with customers, investors, media, and policymakers.
Key Responsibilities
PR & Communications
Develop and deliver a comprehensive PR and communications strategy to raise brand awareness and drive market presence.
Lead proactive media campaigns to secure coverage for innovations, partnerships, and product launches.
Create compelling press releases, media kits, and thought leadership content.
Build strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders.
Design PR initiatives targeting both packaging companies and their end customers (brands & retailers).
Act as the go-to person for all media inquiries.
Corporate Affairs & Public Relations
Build and deliver a corporate affairs strategy to enhance engagement with investors, government, and senior stakeholders.
Support public affairs activity to position the company as a leader in sustainable materials policy.
Lead internal communications that energise and inform employees.
Performance & Budget Management
Set up frameworks to track the success of PR and communication efforts.
Report regularly on key performance metrics, using data to refine strategies.
Manage the communications budget to ensure efficiency and maximum return.
Provide occasional support to the Head of Marketing and broader business projects.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re after a talented PR and communications specialist with a real passion for sustainability, innovation, and storytelling. Ideally, you’ll have experience working with ingredient brands, packaging, or sustainable materials.
Proven PR & communications strategy experience across B2B and B2C.
Media relations expertise – from writing pitches to securing press.
Ability to create high-impact PR campaigns that drive reputation and commercial value.
Experience in ingredient branding or licensing business models.
Strong partner PR experience across varied customer types.
Comfortable influencing through clear, persuasive communication.
Knowledge of corporate affairs and public relations (direct experience a plus).
Key Skills:
Excellent writing and communication skills – press releases, messaging, and thought leadership.
Strategic mindset with great attention to detail and delivery.
Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
