About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Simplicity Group, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and contributing to our overall sales success. You will identify and qualify potential customers, engage with decision-makers, and set up meetings for our sales team across the UK and Ireland. Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and research potential customers using various prospecting tools and strategies.
2. Proactively reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
3. Qualify leads and assess their suitability for our telecom solutions.
4. Schedule meetings between qualified prospects and our sales executives.
5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in our CRM system.
6. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies.
7. Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments.
What We’re Looking For
1. Experience: Previous experience as a Sales Development Representative or in a similar role, with a track record of successful lead generation and qualification.
2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage potential customers.
3. Resilience & Motivation: A self-starter with a results-driven approach and a positive attitude.
4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (experience with Salesforce & Salesloft is a plus).
5. Organisation & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
