Position Title: Senior Health & Safety Consultant Location: EMEA Region (Base in London, with travel to regional sites) Salary: £64,000 - £74,000 Role Overview D7 Recruitment is partnering with a leading consultancy supporting a prominent global financial services company. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Health & Safety Consultant to oversee health and safety operations for this prestigious client across the EMEA region. This pivotal role ensures regulatory compliance, implements effective health and safety strategies, and fosters a strong safety culture within a dynamic corporate environment. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety Management Provide expert advice to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and the client’s internal policies. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections across operational and property/facilities streams. Develop, review, and implement health and safety policies and procedures. Oversee accident reporting, investigation processes, and deliver actionable recommendations. Strategic Initiatives Collaborate with the EMEA Health & Safety Manager to align goals and objectives. Lead initiatives to embed safety best practices across all organisational levels. Identify opportunities to enhance safety performance and spearhead improvement initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with senior leaders, department heads, and local consultants to ensure seamless collaboration. Act as a trusted advisor, offering clear and actionable guidance on complex safety matters. Facilitate communication and training to promote awareness of health and safety protocols. Operational Support Provide on-site or near-site coverage during office hours, with occasional evening/weekend work as required. Support out-of-hours operations, including international travel within the EMEA region. Liaise with local consultants to ensure country-specific health and safety compliance. Qualifications and Experience NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent); Diploma Level 6 desirable. Membership in a recognised professional body (e.g., IOSH or equivalent). Proven experience in corporate health and safety management, ideally within financial or professional services. Strong understanding of EMEA health and safety legislation.
