Are you looking for a role where your keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills can shine? We're seeking a Secretarial Assistant to join our busy and friendly team. Your responsibilities will include working with various documents, preparing and scanning files, and ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. You will be part of a supportive team that collaborates closely with customers and colleagues to keep our legal office running efficiently.
Candidate requirements
* Comfortable with word processing and general PC use.
* Experience in an office or legal environment is a plus.
* Methodical work approach, accuracy under pressure, and multitasking ability.
* Excellent communication skills, professional and clear.
* This role does not attract sponsorship.
About you
You take pride in accuracy, handle important documents with care, and are confident on the phone, dealing politely with a wide range of people. You can manage competing priorities and work independently within clear procedures, yet also enjoy being a team player. A Level 2 Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience is advantageous. Knowledge of local land charges practices is useful but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Physical ability to retrieve and handle files and paperwork regularly is necessary.
Language requirements
This is a public-facing role, so fluency in speaking and writing English is required.
