Want the opportunity for international travel?
Are you ready for a job where you can own what you do?
This role will see you working for a global company who's Head Office is in Europe, but you'll be part of a smaller, close-knit UK team with a fantastic presence in the market.
Whether you're coming in and hitting the ground running, or need some training and support, the company will look after you. They're offering an attractive salary and a great wider package.
What's the job?
This role will see you reporting into the business' UK Marketing Manager, who's been with the business for over 8 years. So, this means you'll have plenty of support and a wealth of knowledge to help you succeed.
You'll be part of a marketing team of 4, who all manage their own portfolios. You'll get to collaborate and share ideas across the team, but still make the decisions when it comes to all things arable and maize.
You'll be working with different teams across UK and Europe to create and maintain a strong portfolio of arable and maize crop protection products.
The 4P's of marketing will be your focus.
Product. You'll know what the challenges in the industry are and know how your portfolio can help.
Price. You'll be on top of market trends and know the value of your product and what competitors are charging.
Place. Being a part of the agriculture industry already, you'll know where your customer hotspots are.
Promotion. You'll be able to support the wider team with crop campaigns, specific to industry and customer needs.
You'll get to work with and educate the sales team on all of the above. They do the selling; you get the facts.
The agriculture industry, and specifically crop protection, changes all the time, so you'll never get bored.
What do I need?
You'll have a working knowledge of arable and maize and be able to understand the pressures farmers face. You'll want to use your knowledge and play a part in supporting them.
Communication is a big part of the role. You'll be working heavily with internal stakeholders across departments and countries, but also with agronomists, PR consultants and more.
You might come from a portfolio background. You might come from an arable and maize crop protection background. Either way, we want to hear from you.
If you come in able to hit the ground running, that's great. If you're a couple of years out of uni and looking for a business to develop in, that's also great.
They have the support system and training structures in place to get you up to speed.
