Whether you have specific I.R. experience or not, full support and training will be provided. The department provides an out of hours emergency on call service, which all nurses ar e required to be part of an on-call rota. The successful candidate will demonstrate high standards of practice with excellent communication, clinical and decision making skills and you will be fully supported to advance your knowledge and develop your clinical competencies in the following areas: Surgical scrub technique, assisting with Interventional procedures, Administering conscious sedation Post procedure recovery care Experience with the scrub technique such as theatres is beneficial but is not essential.
