Middlemore are working with a London based Financial Services firm to appoint a Credit Risk Analyst to join the team. This will be for a Spanish and/or Portuguese speaking looking to progress their career in a boutique, growing global business.\n\nReporting to the Head of Credit Risk, some of the things you'll be you'll be responsible for are:\n\nPreparing credit risk memos, including credit and financial analysis for both new and existing clients.\nPerforming fundamental analysis of annual and interim financial statements on corporates / commodities type clients.\nClearly communicating recommendations of credit limits to Risk Management and Sales.\nManaging credit lines overdue, limits overshoots and excessive exposures above risk appetite.\nMonitoring and reporting credit and derivative exposures to Senior Management on a regular basis.\nCollaborate with Sales, Ops, Legal & Compliance in proactively managing clients credit portfolio.\nMonitoring daily trading performance of clients including collateral management and margin calls.\nContributing to preparing the Credit Committee and Key Performance Indicators.\nWhat you must have:\n\nExperience in analysing financial statements, including of Corporates and commodities type counterparties.\nGood writing skills in preparing credit memo’s.\nPrevious experience managing a credit portfolio.\n3 years minimum experience in credit risk analysis.\nExperience in working with a global sales team.\nWhat you will need:\n\nFluent in Spanish or Portuguese\nSome understanding of ISDA and other legal documentations.\nKnowledge of financial markets is an advantage.\nExperience using Python, VBA and SQL would be beneficial although not essential\nCFA, FRM, CAIA or comparable professional qualification is an advantage.\nWhat will you gain:\n\nSalary £55-60k + a discretionary bonus.\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays!\nPrivate Health Insurance, life insurance and pension.\nCulturally diverse workplace and plenty of international exposure.\nHybrid working model - 3 in office / 2 from home
