HRLife is looking to speak with HR Advisors who currently have a high content of Employee Relations in their role and who are looking to further develop that ER skill set in a fast-paced, commercial business where no two days are the same. Working as part of small, friendly HR Advisory team you’ll take an active part advising Managers on a range of ER issues, utilising your knowledge of employment legislation, policy and best practice to guide and advise and ensure risk is mitigated. Interestingly, you’ll be working with and supporting the delivery of the outsourced ER provider, including reviewing cases identified as a risk. Key elements of the role include: Building effective working relationships with key stakeholders including the outsourced ER service and internal line managers Providing deeper level case management support on high risk, complex ER cases Training and upskilling of line managers on all things ER, creating documentation to show ‘what good looks like’ for training and development purposes Creating and delivering training on Investigations, Disciplinary, Grievance, Appeals and UK Employment Legislation Undertaking various project work, including research to identify latest trends and related material Dealing with Subject Access Requests, preparing documentation for employment tribunal as and when required You’ll have previous experience of working in an ER heavy role, ideally within a commercial environment. As part of this you’ll be able to give examples of dealing with complex ER cases, have taken ownership of ACAS Conciliation cases, dealt with settlement agreements and have been involved in redundancy processes. Hybrid working – 3 days a week in the office.
