Our Global Service Delivery team is currently looking for a Technical Coordinator to successfully and efficiently lead and assist with projects across the technology function.
The Technical Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the technical aspects of projects or non-standard work requests, ensuring that all technical requirements are met and that the project and/or request run smoothly.
This role requires a strong technical background, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
Responsibilities:
* Lead & assist with Non-Standard Request process scheduling of work, requirements gathering, solutions and budgets.
* Work with the Resolver Group Manager & Service Delivery Manager to prioritise the teams and individual workstacks.
* Accountable for ensuring all departments are working to agreed timelines and delivering solutions to the business as agreed.
* Ensure all technical components align with project objectives and timelines.
* Manage, track and report BAU projects and tasks to ensure deadlines are met and output is delivered within quality constraints.
* Ensure technical task progression is recorded.
* Conduct regular reviews and reports to update stakeholders on project and non-standard request status and resolve any technical issues.
* Assist in resource allocation and planning to optimize productivity and budget adherence. Work with department managers to agree resource allocation.
* Assist with the triage of technical requests and gather and document requirements.
* Ensure service transition is being carried out for all work requests & projects.
* Ensure technology processes are being followed, TAB, CAB Transition, etc.
* Produce documentation to support project delivery and service transition.
* Support the team with ordering, tracking and delivery.
* Support the technical team with H&S processes and procedures.
* Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Work with the PMO function to coordinate resources on larger projects and workstreams.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT operations and service delivery activities.
* Perform general administration tasks and other supporting activities within the general nature and purview of the role.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* ITIL Foundation.
* Gathering, cleansing and manipulation of data outputs.
* A high degree of accuracy and standards in the creation of documentation and its ongoing maintenance.
* An understanding of Agile methodology.
* Experience in a similar role or in coordinating activities within an IT service delivery function.
* Experience in producing high-quality and accurate documentation and reporting.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise your own workload.
* Ability to organise and plan work independently.
* Good knowledge of project and resource management tools (MS Project Online, MS Forms, and Jira) (desirable).
* Prince II foundation or practitioner (desirable).
* Experience of supporting the scoping/designing of IT projects within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment (desirable).
