This is an excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a company committed to delivering complex fire protection and security solutions, focusing on the lifetime value of projects. The Health and Safety Advisor will report to the Quality Director and conduct audits, inspections, and investigations.
The role also involves contributing to the development and effectiveness of the company's procedures and processes.\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\n * Conduct Health and Safety Compliance Audits and inspections at company and customer premises.\n\n * Ensure compliance with internal processes, procedures, and regulatory standards.\n\n * Develop and support an audit and inspection programme.\n\n * Assist with incident investigations.\n\n * Maintain and develop standard operating processes and procedures.\n\n * Liaise with managers and site contacts to implement corrective actions.\n\n * Engage with client sites for inspections and meetings.\n\n * Support management in investigating non-conformities and developing corrective action plans.\n\n * Liaise with Certification Bodies and support audits.\n\n * Provide advice on compliance with accreditation requirements.\n\n * Effective communication with clients and colleagues at all levels.\n\n * Professional promotion of the company image through conduct.\n\nJob Benefits\n\n * Salary £40,000 - £45,000 pa plus £5,100 car allowance.\n\n * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with options to buy or sell additional days.\n\n * Contributory company pension scheme.\n\n * Life Assurance.\n\n * Private medical scheme.\n\nSkills and Experience\n\n * Experience in a similar role within the fire engineering or construction industry.\n\n * NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety (essential).\n\n * Proficient in handling Health and Safety investigations and inspections\n\n * Proactive problem-solving abilities.\n\n * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\n\n * Flexibility to travel regularly across the UK.\n\n * Skilled in producing accurate and timely written reports
