CDM Architect Specialist We are looking for a proactive Principal Designer with expertise in CDM and Building Regulations to join a growing Architect support team. This role involves working both within an in-house design teams and alongside external consultants, ensuring compliance and best practices in construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Advise project teams, including clients, on Building Regulations and the Principal Designer's role under both CDM and Building Regulations. Support and guide design teams to implement best practice standards and regulatory compliance. Conduct site visits and produce detailed reports on CDM compliance. Develop clear and concise guidance material on regulatory requirements. Provide training to internal teams and external consultants. Liaise with enforcing authorities where necessary. Skills and Experience Required: Professional qualification in ARB, CIAT, or CIOB (APS membership is an advantage). A minimum of three years' experience as a Principal Designer under CDM across various project sectors. Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act, secondary legislation, and Building Regulations. Experience in risk management and knowledge of the HRB gateway process is beneficial. Strong communication, project management, and technical skills (MS Office, BIM).
