We're currently recruiting a dedicated Finance Support to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Chartwells on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* To provide financial support to the sector business development and retention team
* To provide commercial insight on the market place by analysing external sources and by using previous bid feedback and intelligence
* To specifically work up the financial offer on contract bids
* To manage the contract amendment process and pricing
* To attend client meetings, dialogue sessions and presentations as the finance SME in support of the bid
* To attend DIO commercial meetings and support relationship management for the HESTIA contract amend process
* Work across functions to ensure all financial offers are accurate, maximised and fully understood (Foodbuy, Sector Finance, Food Ops & HR)
* Work collaboratively with sector finance to establish solid benchmarks, sharing all intelligence to ensure a consistent one Compass approach for both renegotiations and new bids
* Assist the Finance Business Partner to create and maintain a suite of MAP1 reporting
* Demonstrate an understanding of and apply the relevant finance concepts to all commercial bids
* Perform post investment appraisals where necessary to gain insight to help inform future bids
* Support Regional Finance Business Partners with the annual reporting and contract requirements for the HESTIA contracts with the Catering Rebalancing Mechanism, Annual Retail Reviews, Annual Operational Week review and review of the Cleaning model and Change of Occupancy
Our ideal Finance Support will:
* Qualification or part qualified in ACA, CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent)
* Previous commercial finance experience
* High numeric and analytical skills
* Ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically
* Ability to analyse and evaluate information
* Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence internal and external parties
* Ability to effectively plan and organise own work
* Ability to take on a broad spectrum of work under pressure and to deliver in agreed timescales
* Positive attitude towards colleagues
* Knowledge of SAP and Cognos would be beneficial
* Proficient with Excel
