Indie College is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that delivers nationally recognised training.
Indie College supports young people and adults to re-engage back into education who may have disengaged or are impacted by a variety of personal or health circumstances. We explore individual goals related to pathways back into school, employment or further accredited training, whilst assisting the development of Language, Literacy and numeracy skills and building confidence.
Indie courses are delivered in either one-on-one, small or large group settings.
Indie College is seeking a full-time Liaison Officer (Vocational Education) to support our Let's Go and VET in School team. This position can be based at any of our Sydney sites: Liverpool, Paramatta or Fairfield.
Workplace Tasking & Key Responsibilities
* Ensure full compliance of all Let’s Go & VETiS enrolments, both new and ongoing, at each designated Liaison's location and maintain ongoing compliance throughout their enrolment.
* Complete enrolments with a high level of accuracy and within a timely manner, ensuring they meet compliance standards.
* Complete all professional development and maintain industry currency as per ASQA and company requirements.
* Maintain compliance knowledge and understanding of RTO standards, School Compliance Requirements, ASQA requirements, Training Packages, Australian Qualification Framework (AQF), and VET related funding bodies.
* Track Learner non-attendance and report concerns to the Regional Manager.
* Contribute to various projects and activity development and review processes.
* Assist with delivery to Learners when necessary, particularly in cases of staff shortages.
* Create, update, implement, and monitor policies and procedures.
* Produce, monitor, and provide reports and audits to the Regional Manager.
* Work with the Regional Manager to support and collaborate with locations.
* Undertake additional ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Manager, Manager, and Executive Manager.
For this position with our company, applicants must:
* Demonstrated experience in vocational education and training including a working knowledge of Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and National Vet Regulator (NVR) Standards.
* Ability to develop, plan, implement and manage multiple projects.
* Have strong interpersonal skills.
* Have the ability to work as part of a strong team.
* Be highly organised and have strong attention to detail.
* Have experience and/or demonstrated ability in working with youth.
* Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Have strong written and oral communication skills.
Essential requirements to verify before commencement:
* Current Driver’s license.
* Annual National Police Check (completed in the 3 months prior to appointment).
* Current Working with Children’s Check-in State/s of operation.

Hours of Work:
* Monday to Friday – 8.30 am to 4.36 pm.
* Christmas Closure period (Dec/Jan, 10 A/L days).
