Forge Holiday Group are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our wider People function at our Chester head office, working across our 4 business divisions; Forge Holiday Group, Forest Holidays, UKCaravansforHire and Sykes Holiday Cottages. Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum Work Days & Hours : Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Working Policy : Flexible hybrid-working policy after initial training period, with a minimum of two days a week from our Chester head office. About the Role Our new Payroll Administrator will be working within a team of 3 to provide administrative support with the processing of 5 monthly payrolls for around 1800 employees. Our team is flexible and agile in response to the needs of the department, to ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee payments. You will be ensuring compliance with all statutory and legal requirements as well as working closely with colleagues in other departments such as Finance and HR to deliver a group shared service. After the initial training period, attendance at the office will be for a minimum of 2 days per week and as required for various monthly team meetings. You must be flexible to provide extra support to colleagues during busy times in the month around payroll cut-off. Your Responsibilities: Collating and checking the data for Starters, Leavers and contractual changes across multiple payrolls and pay schedules. Processing Sick & Absence adjustments and checking statutory payments due in line with different company terms and conditions. Collating temporary payments due including bonus, on-call and overtime. Inputting ad-hoc adjustments onto the payroll system. Administering salary sacrifice benefits such as pension and cycle to work. Assisting with the checking of payroll results and resolving differences. Answering payroll queries via email and telephone. Supporting the Payroll Manager and other team members to implement new efficient ways of working. Always complying with GDPR guidelines and safeguarding employee confidentiality.
