As the Personal Assistant to the Faculty Directors in the Faculty of Engineering, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of the Faculty leadership team. You’ll manage diaries, organise travel, handle correspondence, and support key HR processes. You will also assist in managing critical projects that help shape the future of world-class engineering education and research.
What You’ll Do:
● Diary and Travel Management: Take charge of scheduling, travel arrangements, and ensuring everything runs smoothly for the Faculty Directors.
● Committee Support: You’ll coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions.
● HR Support: You’ll support recruitment, staff development, and other HR-related processes.
● Effective Communication: Be the point of contact between the Faculty Directors and key internal and external stakeholders.
● Project Coordination: Lead on specific work packages, helping to manage and deliver important projects.
What We’re Looking For:
● Experience: You’ve worked in a senior administrative role, ideally in higher education, and have a good understanding of committee servicing and HR processes.
● Organisational Skills: You’re a pro at managing multiple tasks, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
● Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google applications. Bonus points for experience with Google Sites.
● Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people.
● Discretion: You handle sensitive information with care and respect confidentiality at all times.
