About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Hydrometry and Monitoring team based in Theale. This role includes processing and reporting water data (e.g., flow, depth, quality, and rainfall) collected by our field team, along with administrative office tasks. There may also be opportunities for fieldwork, which involves visiting sites across England to carry out water measurements and maintain telemetry logging equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word and Excel.
* GCSE or equivalent qualification in Geography, Environmental Education, Geology, or Outdoor Education.
* A valid UK driving license.
* Familiarity with data analysis, data quality, and Data Technician tasks, with a focus on managing data quantity (preferred)
* Willingness to occasionally assist Field Technicians with outdoor tasks.
* Comfortable working in water and confident in swimming.
Experience:
* Full training will be provided, so prior experience is not required if you meet the essential skills listed above.
* Experience in processing and reporting hydrometric field data or carrying out administrative duties would be beneficial but is not essential.
