The Senior Systems Specialist will be responsible for the ongoing management of the main HCT SystmOne publishing unit, setting standards and processes to ensure the safe and effective management of clinical systems. The Clinical System in use by HCT is predominantly SystmOne and so the post holder will be expected to have a high level of SystmOne configuration expertise and experience. The post holder must also be able to demonstrate previous strong leadership skills and experience.

Main duties of the job
* To provide system expertise in the delivery of complex and high priority system changes.
* Line management of the Project deployment & Operational Analysts to provide high level expertise and guidance.
* To provide the Clinical System team with high level of SystmOne expertise, offering support, and guidance to resolve any risks and issues.
* To contribute to a culture of continuous performance improvement to improve patient care.
* To contribute to organisational transformational plans and projects, providing SystmOne expertise and knowledge to assist with delivery of service improvements.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
* Educated to master's degree level or equivalent knowledge and experience.
* SystmOne Accreditation.
* Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).
Experience and Knowledge
* Extensive SystmOne experience, including leading on high profile projects and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
* Experience communicating effectively, including through written reports and presentations for senior audiences.
* Experience of developing policies and procedures.
Skills & Abilities
* Proficient in managing and maintaining clinical and digital systems.
* Excellent organisational & interpersonal skills with highly attuned understanding of different audiences and sensitivities including how to effectively work with frontline staff.
* Highly developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to persuade, influence and negotiate to achieve successful outcomes at all levels.
* Ability to interpret and analyse highly complex information related to the options and outcomes available for the delivery of system solutions and choices available as well as system testing and audits.
