Cover Supervisor / HLTA - Full-time (Across RCT)
Daily Rate: £110 - £120 per day

Teaching Personnel is looking for confident, ambitious individuals to join schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) as Cover Supervisors or Higher-Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs). This exciting role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, develop your teaching skills, and start leading lessons.
About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor or HLTA, you will:
✅ Deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage classroom behaviour in the absence of a teacher
✅ Support students in Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) across a range of subjects
✅ Foster a positive learning environment and help students stay engaged and focused
✅ Provide one-to-one and small group support when needed
✅ Gain first-hand teaching experience and build classroom management skills
Who Can Apply? We’re looking for individuals who:
✔ Are eager to take on teaching responsibilities and progress in their education careers
✔ Have experience in education, care, coaching, or youth work (desirable)
✔ Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills
✔ Are confident managing classroom behaviour and supporting learners
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) preferred
Enhanced DBS check (must be registered on the Update Service)
Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
