Job summary A10 ward is a 36 bedded ward specialising in gastroenterology and hepatology. There is a diverse patient group which includes Crohn's/Colitis disease, alcohol detoxing, and chronic Liver Disease and GI bleeding. Feeding complications and cancers, working with different feeding routes and eating disorder patients. The ward is very challenging but also exciting to work on, with so many opportunities to develop your clinical skills caring for acutely unwell patients. Our team is hard working, positive and friendly. We work together as a team and we pride ourselves on going that "extra mile" for our patients. All of us on A10 support and guide each other through every shift to ensure we achieve the highest quality of care at every opportunity. Please note that we can only consider applications from individuals with a live NMC registration or UK nursing students awaiting their PIN, as we are currently unable to support OSCE. Main duties of the job A10 Ward is very keen to actively develop and support their staff, we have good support networks with the Practice Development Team to encourage and motivate students and new starters.
