Job summary University Hospitals Dorset is looking to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow in Hip Surgery. The 12 month fellowship is supervised by Professor Robert Middleton and Mr Kieran Gallagher. We are principally recruiting for fellows to commence in August 2026 and October 2026 but may consider applicants for future opportunities if deemed suitable at the point of interview. Main duties of the job The post will concentrate on elective hip surgery and will offer experience of cemented and un-cemented primary and revision hip surgery. The post will allow the surgeon to develop a specialist interest in hip surgery and applicants should have either completed or be about to complete their training in this area. The unit is involved in clinical research into joint replacement and the Fellow will be involved in this. There is no out of hours on call commitment.
