Senior Counterbalance FLT Driver (Process Leader)
Shift: Double Days (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm weekly rotation)
Salary: £26,206 + Shift Allowance & Process Leader Allowance = £33,187.40 + Excellent Package

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Counterbalance FLT Driver, known as a Process Leader internally, at our site in Trafford Park, Manchester. Our Process Leaders work on FLT Counterbalance trucks alongside with making sure the operation on the yard runs smoothly through leading on processes.
The FLTs we use at CHEP are 4.5 Ton triple fork vehicles. It would be beneficial if you have experience working on double or triple fork FLTs.
It would be advantageous if you had an external FLT License (RTITB or ITSSAR), however we can accept in-house licenses with a view of obtaining an external license on the offer of a role at CHEP.
Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have worked in a busy yard environment, loading, and unloading HGVs and moving stacks of pallets.

* Supporting the shift leadership team to drive process efficiency and quality in all areas of the yard and plant.
* Assisting continuous improvement through data collection, problem solving and reporting.
