In this role, you will get hands-on experience in various tasks that will help develop your skills, allowing you to progress in the business. Electricians in our business work on heavy machinery and play a critical role in keeping our manufacturing plants functioning.
What will the apprentice be doing?
* General maintenance.
* Managing breakdowns on site and finding faults.
* Adding new systems on site for better productivity.
* Running electrical tests.
* Health and safety checks which include risk assessments and fire alarm tests.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment and ensuring safety comes before anything else!
* Taking pride in all work completed and being determined to succeed!
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
* Maintenance And Operations Engineering Technician (MOET).
* The apprentice will attend College on Block release.
Requirements and prospects
Qualifications:
* GCSE or equivalent Maths & English (Grade C or above / Level 4 or above) essential.
