Howdens is searching for a Senior Talent Development Manager to partner with our HR Directors to shape the future of talent and succession development across our 11,000-strong workforce, ensuring we remain ahead of the competition.
What will you be doing as a Senior Talent Development Manager:
1. Lead the design and delivery of talent and succession development strategies, building a robust pipeline of high-potential individuals up to and including our Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
2. Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to identify critical roles, assess future skills needs, and implement innovative programmes.
3. Drive a culture of growth through coaching, mentorship, and tailored development plans.
4. Develop meaningful career pathways and create high-quality learning experiences to engage and retain top talent.
5. Shape our approach to succession, ensuring the organisation mitigates risk while unlocking potential.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
1. Strategic Talent Development: Design and execute succession programmes aligned with business objectives.
2. Career Pathways: Build opportunities for colleagues at all levels to achieve their goals.
