Children's Residential Worker
From £23,400 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, plus sleep in rate at approx £2,200 extra onto your
package annually and additional training allowance
Shifts: 3pm – 11pm, 10am – 11pm, sleep in shifts

For over 30 years, SWAAY have been providing specialised, high-quality care for young males aged 11-18 with developmental trauma,
attachment difficulties and who have displayed sexually harmful behaviour.
We are looking for caring, committed and resilient Therapeutic Residential Workers to join us in continuing to provide outstanding
tailored therapeutic support to our young people within our 4 bed residential homes. You will be a positive role model to the
young people in our care and will work with openness and compassion, with an ability to set and maintain boundaries to keep our
young people safe.
Your responsibilities include:
* Maintaining a safe, nurturing and inclusive home environment
* Supporting our young people to develop the skills and tools that prepare them for adulthood
* Promoting the health and well-being of each child
* Working in line with the young people’s risk assessments and emotional & behavioural response plans
* Recognising, responding to and recording any safeguarding concerns, ensuring accurate records are kept
You may already have experience working with young people in a residential setting, or this may be a new career move for you, no
matter what your previous experience may be, we are committed to developing you in your new position. It would be great if you
have an NVQ Level 4 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), however if not, we will enroll you onto the diploma and fully
support you in achieving this qualification.

Shift Patterns:
* 3pm – 11pm
