We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer at our Swains Park plant in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. The site is easily accessible from Coalville, Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock, Rugeley, Stafford, Burton Upon Trent, Derby, Castle Donnington, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Lutterworth, Nuneaton, Birmingham, Solihull and the surrounding areas.

Role Responsibility
As the successful Maintenance Engineer, you will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for managing all aspects of electrical and mechanical maintenance and plant reliability; including the management of breakdown cause and availability analysis.
On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer will include (not exhaustive):
1. Identifying and managing safety and energy opportunities
2. Managing site-based projects
3. Delivering a high level of technical support as well as hands on rectification.
4. Managing the maintenance activities on site
5. Developing and coaching others
6. Completing preventative maintenance inspections on automated packing and palletising equipment
7. Supporting maintenance activities and identifying solutions to maintenance, operational and reliability issues
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal Maintenance Engineer will be a time served electrical technician with experience within an industrial environment. Additional experience in mechanical fitting, welding and industrial automation would also be of benefit.
If you have a time served electrical apprenticeship with qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or have previous experience of working within an electrical industrial environment, this would be beneficial as would having a knowledge of electrical standards and maintenance practices.
