Begin your journey with us through hands-on training at our renowned South Kensington or Notting Hill sites, working alongside our talented GMs. About the Market Halls: In this buzzing environment, customers must approach the counter to place their orders. Once the food and drinks are prepared, the buzzer will buzz, and they will have to collect the order from the counter. They can then enjoy their meals in the Food Hall. There is no table service or cleaning at all. KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Approach - Maintain an enthusiastic, engaged, and passionate approach to food and great service, with the ability to cope under pressure. Operation – Day-to-day running of the business. Training – Training all staff to the highest standard, particularly in: Customer Service Standards Full understanding and knowledge of the menu. Full understanding of allergens Health & safety. Teamwork and communication – Inspiring staff and driving morale, alongside delegating tasks with confidence and authority. Cogs & Suppliers management – Ensuring that stock is replenished and maintained whilst achieving set GP margins. Sort out any issues with Suppliers and take action accordingly using Apicbase and Tenzo. People Management – Make sure that all staff are trained accordingly. Organise necessary trainings with support from HR, Organise staff reviews and interviews alongside HR. Staff cost/Sales - Drive the team to increase sales through upselling appropriately, achieve staff cost of below their target of net sales excluding service charge and pensions, Keep within the staff budget using Tenzo. Quality - Quality control in all aspects of service, regularly check online reviews (Trip Advisor and Google Reviews) to consider how to make improvements and to boost team morale, Ensure the overall quality meets the high standards of consistency expected by Farm Girl Holdings across these sites. Sales - Meeting financial objectives, initiating actions and implementing strategies with the site managers to increase covers and average spend. Health & Safety - Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures in compliance with health and safety legal regulations, Health & Safety folders onsite are being updated regularly consisting of health and safety forms (temperature checks, opening and closing sheets etc) for BOH and FOH. Monitor and manage pest control checks with Rentokil and/or any other service providers. Menu Management - Ensure the stock on all platforms (Arch/Uber Eats/Deliveroo) are being managed and accurate and the devices are active as far as practically possible. · Admin Creating and Organising FOH rotas. Regular team meetings Sales Staff updates/Recruitment Ordering Menu Maintenance Timesheets approvals. FOH recruitment – interview the candidate, oversee the trail shift and provide necessary feedback to HR manager. Be informed about online reviews (Google Reviews, Trip Advisor) and act accordingly when necessary with both positive and negative feedback.
