Are You an Experienced Service Manager/Head of Service with a Passion for Children's Services?
We're have an exciting Interim Service Manager opportunity in Tameside, Greater Manchester. If you have a strong background in managing fostering, placements, and adoption services, we want to hear from you!
As the Interim Service Manager, you'll oversee - Fostering Services (managing 3 Team Managers), Placements Team (1 Team Manager) and liaise with the Regional Adoption Agency.

Responsibilities:
8. Lead, manage, and develop the fostering service to deliver the best outcomes for children and young people.
9. Ensure compliance with National Minimum Standards, Regulations, and Statutory Guidance.
10. Prepare for and manage inspections, striving for outstanding results.
11. Engage foster carers and children in shaping and improving service delivery.
12. Take a leadership role in fulfilling corporate parenting duties and ensuring high aspirations for all children.
13. Support, motivate, and manage staff to deliver high-quality services.
14. Maintain strong relationships with the Regional Adoption Agency.
To be considered for the Interim role, ideally you will have:
15. 3-5 years' management experience in fostering and adoption services.
16. BSc in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
17. Social Work England Registration.
18. Proven leadership in developing fostering & adoption teams and services.
