We are currently seeking a new Gas Centre Coordinator to be part of our fantastic and rapidly growing Directorate in Engineering, Construction and Building Technologies. The Gas Centre Coordinator plays a critical role leading the Gas centre and tracking learners' performance.
You will have experience of working with young people either within a college setting or perhaps onsite working as a mentor to apprenticeship learners. You will have the ability to motivate and inspire, setting clear targets and monitoring progress to ensure our students have the support they need to succeed.
You will need to be organised with the ability to multi-task and communicate with a range of audiences including working closely with the Head for Higher Level Skills and Director for area. A key feature of the role will be to ensure the Gas centre-training environment within which assessment activities are conducted is safe, suitable for use and compliant with all relevant legislation. Furthermore, you will act as Lead Internal Verifier for the Gas qualification and ensure that your CPD is regularly updated in line with the duties of this role.
This post is based at our Ipswich campus; however, Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site, therefore you may be required to work at and travel between other campuses.

Working Hours: Up to 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: Within the range of £38,523 to £43,257 per annum, pro rata if part-time
Plus market forces supplement of £4,383 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
