Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
* Monitor credit limits and payment terms, taking appropriate action when accounts exceed limits or are overdue.
* Handle queries and disputes professionally to resolve payment delays.
* Reconcile customer accounts, ensuring accuracy of invoices and payments.
* Prepare and issue monthly statements and overdue notices.
* Maintain detailed records of communication with clients.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve account issues.
* Provide regular reports on debtor performance and highlight any areas of concern.
Requirements:
* Credit Control experience isn't crucial however must have experience working in customer service, doing a high number of calls on a daily basis.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* A professional and customer-focused approach.
