Role: Locum Senior Pharmacist (Women and Child Health) Banding: Band 8a Location: London Start Date: ASAP Duration: Minimum 3 months Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:45AM – 17:15PM Rate: £34 - £39 per hour The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 8A Senior Pharmacist specializing in Women and Child Health to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. Key Responsibilities: You will act as the lead pharmacist for Paediatrics and Maternity Services. You will develop the provision of clinical pharmacy services to the Paediatrics and Maternity Service Lines in accordance with the needs of the user and the required standards of quality and professional practice. You will provide specialist pharmaceutical advice to medical and nursing staff on drugs for paediatric, neonatal, and maternity patients. You will co-ordinate the provision of chemotherapy to paediatric and adolescent patients in conjunction with the designated tertiary centres. You will provide expert pharmaceutical care to women and children. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. You will supervise and mentor junior pharmacy staff. Requirements: Education and Qualifications: GPhC Registered. 1 year pre-registration training. Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm) accredited by the GPhC. Previous NHS hospital experience inclusive of clinical pharmacy practice. Significant experience in Women and Child Health. Skills and Knowledge: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Strong knowledge of medicines and their applications. Why work with Pulse?
