Job Description As a Toolmaker, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of assembly and press tooling equipment. This role focuses on delivering high standards in equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: Leading repairs and maintenance activities on tooling equipment. Performing scheduled maintenance to enhance machine reliability and reduce downtime. Diagnosing and resolving equipment issues to maximize availability. Supporting technical improvements and geometry enhancement activities. Ensuring compliance with quality standards, QMS requirements, and safety regulations. Assisting in the development and mentoring of Engineering apprentices. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This position requires a Toolmaker who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure while adhering to strict safety and quality guidelines. Skills & Experience To succeed as a Toolmaker, you must demonstrate: Completion of a recognized apprenticeship in Die Maintenance or Tool Making. ONC or equivalent level qualification. Engineering experience in industrial manufacturing or automotive sectors. Strong analytical and fault-finding skills. Effective communication and the ability to collaborate across teams.
