As the first point of contact for Bromford colleagues experiencing IT issues, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional technical support across our IT estate. With a friendly, proactive approach, you'll diagnose and resolve a wide range of hardware, software, and network challenges, ensuring colleagues can continue their work with minimal disruption. In this role, you'll provide technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance, aiming for a first-time fix whenever possible. Your expertise in ITIL practices, incident management, and prioritisation will help you effectively manage and resolve requests, while your ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems will ensure swift and efficient solutions. Beyond problem-solving, you'll be a key part of a collaborative tech team, working closely with colleagues across infrastructure, business applications, and data teams. You'll contribute to our knowledge base, stay ahead of industry best practices, and help shape the future of technical support at Bromford. This role is permanent and full time. You will be based in our Wolverhampton office 5 days per week with travel to our other workspaces if needed including Lichfield, Tewkesbury and Chipping Sodbury. A Basic DBS check will be required as well as a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. You will have: Extensive experience in 2nd or 3rd line technical support, with a strong background in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues Proven expertise in Windows, macOS, Android, Microsoft Intune, Azure, and D365, with a commitment to staying up to date with emerging technologies Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and support colleagues through coaching and mentoring Relevant certifications such as MCP, A, or ITIL Foundation (desirable), along with a solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices A logical, methodical approach to problem-solving and a dedication to continuous professional development The closing date is Sunday 9 March.
