Job Description
We are currently looking to recruit a Used Car Sales Controller who will be responsible for aiding the Sales Manager to support the Sales team in daily operations to maximize sales.
This will include aiding the Sales Manager in appraising staff training needs and coaching staff as required. You will be expected to achieve agreed sales targets for used cars within defined operating and financial guidelines.
The hours of work are 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday (with a day off in the week). You will also be required to work 1 in 3 Sundays, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
This role has a basic salary of £30,000 with an OTE of £55,000 plus benefits, including a company car.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Customer Satisfaction (CSI): You will build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed our customers' expectations. You will ensure that our customers' buying experience is industry-leading and handle customer queries and complaints effectively.
2. Maximising Opportunities: Support the sales team in daily operations, including customer contact, sales deal building and closing, and vehicle preparation while ensuring the correct level of stock is maintained.
3. Maximising Profit: Drive the sales process and support the sales team in achieving their monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products within Used Cars. Carry out accurate appraisals of all vehicles presented in part-exchange and agree valuations with the Sales Manager.
4. Data Quality and FCA Compliance: Ensure accurate completion of all Used Car sales paperwork and provide reports on all sales activities, ensuring accurate sales forecasts. Ensure the sales team collects all customer contact and vehicle data to maximize the quality and content of the customer database while adhering to the Company’s FCA obligations.

1. Experience in Used Car sales, currently as a Used Car Sales Controller or an experienced sales executive looking for your first step into management.

5. A valid driving licence and willingness to work between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, as well as working every other Sunday with a day off in the week.
