Would you be excited to lead the ‘Creative Arts’ curriculum area across the school and secure improvements in the Art and Drama subject areas while leading by example as an excellent classroom practitioner?
Tor View School are seeking to appoint a Teacher who is committed to providing a welcoming, stimulating learning experience for all the pupils at our school. We are looking for a Teacher of the arts to join our team.
To be successful you will be a creative, nurturing individual dedicated to ensuring that students’ needs are met, providing them with a positive learning journey and helping them to achieve their aspirations. You will need to have experience of adapting lessons to make them accessible to all pupils while ensuring a high level of challenge. The school uses the TIS approach to underpin the learning environment and curriculum delivery and you will be well supported to use this within your own practice.
The role will involve you managing typical behaviours involving pupils with Special Educational Needs; therefore, experience of working with students with Autism and complex needs would be advantageous.
