Page Personnel are working with a well established Consumer Goods business based in Leeds City Centre, due to new business projects taking place our client has a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract position available and can offer an immediate start. This position involves leading within the Accounts Payable team, ensuring the team is running efficiently and mentoring members of staff when required.
Description
Processing and recording purchase invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
Preparing and processing payment runs
Performing monthly reconciliations of supplier statements
Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
Resolving queries from both internal and external stakeholders
Ensuring that the AP department is running smoothly and identifying areas of improvement
Assisting with month-end close processes
Mentoring and supporting other members of staff where necessary
Supporting with ad hoc accounting tasks as required
Profile
A strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes
An educational background in accounting or finance
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure, at high volumes and to meet deadlines
Job Offer
