Job Description
There is an opportunity for a Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer to join our talented and growing safety department; to take the lead in the delivery of our safety case projects related to new build infrastructure and the development of existing safety cases across the UK.
You will be based in our Plymouth Office at Plymouth Science Park, working as part of a highly professional and dynamic team.
What you will be responsible for
1. Supporting our Principal Safety Engineers in the delivery of safety case projects;
2. Mentoring and nurturing our Safety Engineers;
3. Continuing to develop excellent relationships with our existing clients.

Key Skills, Experience & Attitudes

4. A developed understanding and experience in a number of the following areas of safety case development:
1. Hazard Identification and Fault Sequence Development;
2. Deterministic Safety Assessment / Probabilistic Safety Assessment / Severe Accident Analysis;
3. Radiological Consequence Assessment;
4. Safety Case Management;
5. ALARP Justification;
6. Safety Report Writing (e.g. PSR, PCSR, POSR, PCmSR).
5. Experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams and ability to communicate across different stakeholder groups and at a variety of professional levels;
6. Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain Security Clearance;
