The Role
Eaton Bank Academy has a vacancy for a Pastoral Manager who will provide excellent support for the behaviour and welfare of students and encourage their academic achievement.

Qualifications, Skills and Personal Qualities Required:
1. 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent.
2. Proven pastoral skills experience including problem solving, taking initiative and sharing information to work as an effective team player within an organisation.
3. Experience of working with aged 11-18 students in an educational environment.
4. An understanding of curriculum pathways, learning, behaviour and disciplinary strategies.
5. A positive role model with a commitment to the ethos and educational values of the school.
6. Experience of working with external agencies to support students’ wellbeing and welfare.
7. Good organisational and time management skills with evidence of ability to manage own workload and work independently.
