Cleaner Salary - £14,872 per annum Hours - 25 hours per week – Monday – Friday between 7am – 12noon Our client seeks to employ a Cleaner to join its enthusiastic, vibrant, and hardworking team. As one of only two specialist horse racing colleges in the UK, this independent training provider delivers training for people in both racing and other equine industries. Located in the scenic grounds of a private estate near Doncaster, it achieved Ofsted Grade 2 for overall effectiveness and Grade 1 for both Behaviour & Attitudes and Personal Development in December 2022. The Cleaner is responsible for carrying out cleaning and associated duties throughout the College. They are responsible for using equipment within Health and Safety regulations and reporting any faults to their Line Manager. General duties include: General cleaning (floors and common areas) Laundry including bed linen, tea towels, tablecloths Waste disposal and recycling Clean and restock toilets daily Floor Care including mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming Use powered cleaning equipment Assist with room checks and return dirty dishes Emergency cleaning e.g. flooding Liaise for supplies and report maintenance To undertake any additional duties commensurate with the grade of the post that may be required in addition to those already stipulated A contributory pension scheme, and an initial holiday entitlement of 25 days (pro rata) plus pro rata Bank Holidays and membership of their Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
