Vacancy Brief:
* The job role is that of a Ex Offender and Complex Needs Referral Coordinator
* This is vacancy initially a temp role until the end of March 2025.
* A full-time role, 35 hours per week
* Work pattern is Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
* Pay rate for this vacancy is £20.96 PAYE or £26.17 Umbrella
* This vacancy will be location based; however occasional travel may be required.
* A current Enhanced DBS covering Child and Adult workforce will be required for this job role.
The Responsibilities:
* As a Ex Offender Referral Coordinator, you will be required to co-ordinates referrals to supported housing projects in the London Borough of Camden for clients who have a history of offending behaviour and/or complex needs.
* Part of your job role as a Ex Offender Referral Coordinator will be to play a pivotal part in giving vulnerable clients the necessary support to live in the community and move forward with their lives as well as contributing to keeping Camden and the wider communities safe
* The role of an Ex-Offender Referral Coordinator will consist of operational and strategic duties; with numerous opportunities to contribute towards and develop policies, procedures and strategies.
* You will be required to works closely with commissioners to ensure communication of changes in demand for services and to be part of discussions about future provision.
* In your role as a Ex Offender Referral Coordinator, you will need to be able to work on your own initiative and balance pressures arising from corporate, housing and probation service priorities, including community safety and public protection.
