About the Role
LHV Bank is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to guide the Salesforce team in building scalable solutions that support banking operations. This position combines hands-on development with leadership of a small team of Salesforce Administrators. The role focuses on enhancing internal processes and supporting strategic digital initiatives, including work with the nCino platform. Close collaboration with Product, Agile Delivery, and Engineering leadership will be key to driving progress and improving workflows.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver Salesforce solutions to support a range of banking products and internal systems
* Maintain and enhance the nCino platform, ensuring close alignment with Salesforce and business requirements
* Manage and mentor a Salesforce team of three, supporting both technical output and professional development
* Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement effective Salesforce features
* Oversee architecture and integration strategy to support scale and maintainability
* Develop and manage APEX code, Lightning components, validation rules, and workflows
* Promote sound engineering practices around version control, documentation, and testing
* Evaluate platform updates and assess relevance for future development plans
Required Skills and Experience
* Solid experience in Salesforce development (APEX, Lightning)
* Prior experience mentoring or managing Salesforce professionals
* Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification required; Admin certification is a plus
* Familiarity with API-based integration and strong understanding of Salesforce’s capabilities
* Enthusiasm for automation and process optimization
* Experience working within agile, collaborative environments
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with nCino or similar banking-related Salesforce extensions
* Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
* Background in financial services or fintech
* Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
* Knowledge of Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines
