An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join our Team.
Summary:
• Closing date: 14th February 2025
• Location: Office based in Bridgend (possibility to work part time from our Treorchy office if preferred)
Job Description
In this role you will be assisting fee-earners with their property caseload throughout all stages of the transaction from initial instruction through to completion. The successful candidate will have a background in conveyancing or be a law/LPC graduate with a passion for residential property work.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring incoming post and email correspondence
2. Generating initial client care letters and fee quotations
3. Undertaking AML checks for new clients
4. Attending to clients on the telephone, and in person when required
5. Completing sales/purchases and assisting with the release of funds
6. Post-completion duties, registering purchases and file closures
7. Assisting with the billing process
Desirable Skills and Experience:
1. Exceptional communication and customer service skills
2. A positive attitude and a commercial awareness
3. Organised and methodical approach with good attention to detail
4. Ability to work well individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
